After countless days of preparing, packing two very large suitcases, and 21+ hours of stressful traveling I have arrived in Sydney. Since there is a 14-hour time difference the jet lag is going to be pretty brutal. I expected to check-in to the hotel and relax but instead we got right to it, going on a walk around darling harbor then had a group meeting about the program and what to expect while we were here. I was greeted at the airport by The Education Abroad Network team Katherine and Todd, who are both awesome people. We are all staying at the break-free on George, which is close proximity to most Sydney city attractions and right in the middle of China Town. We went to the Blackbird cafe in Darling harbor for dinner and I got to try an Australian specialty, Kangaroo! Surprisingly it was pretty good. The day has finally come to an end and I can easily say i’m exhausted so that is all for now!

Cheers!
