I decided to not write about work everyday to keep my blog fun and interesting, so unless it’s something majorly exciting, I will mostly only blog on the weekends. My first week at work was informative, but intense. I learned the ins and outs of marketing, created a poster for a social media post, and created a powerpoint for an event being held next week. (The event will definitely get a blog post!) As an intern I couldn’t ever imagine getting to do the things I do, but it is amazing. Last night was the kickoff of Vivid Sydney, where they light up the city with light shows. There are fireworks every night and the town is packed. The weather has gotten a lot colder with it being in the low 60’s and windy. Tonight my friend Martha and I decided to go on a Vivid Sydney light cruise then walking through Darling Harbor. We found the restaurant “I’m Angus” which we decided to try after the cruise. The lights were spectacular and the food was delicious. We ended our night by grabbing a hot chocolate at Starbucks on the way home. It is another early night because tomorrow we are going whale watching!

P.S Restaurants these are some restaurant reviews from the weekend! This weeks we tried Jamie’s Italian where I had the aged hanger steak with balsamic reduction and chips. (excellent) I also tried the burger project in world square which was ok. The nook which is an excellent salad and sandwich place near work and has become my go-to lunch spot. Last but not least is I’m Angus where I had a bacon wrapped fillet with twice baked potato and it was amazing! All other nights I have been cooking myself!

Cheers!
